Adelphi to Celebrate 125 Years
Adelphi College is celebrating its 125th anniversary.
A specific celebration will acquire place at the 22nd once-a-year president’s gala on June 11 at the Garden Town Resort.
In addition to recognizing the university’s legacy and its students, the function will also celebrate the university’s Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology, which is celebrating the 65th anniversary of its doctoral application.
“Our 125th calendar year was incredibly unique since two landmark matters coincided for us,” Adelphi’s President Christine Riordan, stated in a statement.
“Our neighborhood celebrated Adelphi’s milestone anniversary and came alongside one another to imagine our long run and following strategic program,” she additional. “We’re excited to begin Adelphi’s 126th 12 months with visionary targets that establish on our legacy and deal with our rapidly modifying earth. With our wonderful network of pals, school, staff, and alumni committed to supporting our students’ achievement, we are happy, psyched, and all set to be making tomorrow, jointly.”
Internet proceeds from the gala will assistance the president’s College student Success Scholarship. The endowment aims to make sure that Adelphi juniors and seniors dealing with economic hardship can stay on keep track of to total their degrees.
