Las Vegas firefighters climb 1,455 techniques in total equipment at The STRAT to honor 9/11 heroes
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Energetic firefighters arrived alongside one another this early morning to honor all those who missing their lives 20 decades back on September 11 with a climb up 1,455 steps to the top of The STRAT Resort, Casino & SkyPod.
Climbing the SkyPod’s 1,149-foot tower in total equipment, each individual participant wore a lanyard with a photo of a fallen firefighter to signify the heroes whose life were shed.
To start with responders from throughout the Las Vegas Valley participated in the climb, such as:
- Las Vegas Fireplace & Rescue Fire Captain Anthony Clinker
- Fireplace Engineer Chad Paddock
- Firefighter and paramedic, Michael McFate
Subsequent the climb, contributors and spouse and children and mates had been invited to raise a glass at PT’s Wings & Athletics in memory of those who produced the final sacrifice 20 a long time back.
