Newbridge Silverware wins prestigious Asia Matters Business Award 2022
Newbridge Silverware has been announced as the winners of the Tourism Provider of the Year 2022 at the prestigious Asia Matters Business Awards 2022 last Friday, 2nd December at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Dublin.
The Asia Matters Business Awards recognise Irish companies with a strategic focus on Asia and Asian companies making significant investment in Ireland and is held in partnership with The Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment, Atlantic Technological University, Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland, IBEC, IDA Ireland, PwC Ireland, The Department of Finance, Údarás na Gaeltachta and Media Partner, The Sunday Times.
The Tourism Provider of the Year 2022 Award recognises the achievement of the best Irish Tourism Provider. Given the pandemic, credit was given on the use of digital and social channels to engage with markets during 2022 and to prepare for the return of Asian tourists to Ireland in 2023.
The judges were looking for evidence of an innovative and well executed Asia specific strategic approach with clear business results referencing key contributing factors such as strengths in branding and communication, new product design, strategic partnership, legal and regulatory, sustainability and manufacturing and distribution.
The award was accepted by the Newbridge Silverware Tourism Team who were delighted with their win. William Doyle, CEO of Newbridge Silverware thanked the team for their hard work and said he was very proud of what they had achieved.
