The third Nobu restaurant in Las Vegas is now open at Paris Las Vegas, serving dinner nightly from 5 until 10 p.m. It’s the second partnership between acclaimed chef and restaurateur Nobu Matsuhisa and Caesars Entertainment, following a restaurant and the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace. The new space seats 140 and is located adjacent to the new Bobby’s Burgers.
Celebrity chef Buddy Valastro has opened Buddy’s Jersey Eats at the Linq, serving a menu of fun casual food inspired by the Atlantic City Boardwalk and late-night Jersey joints from his youth. Located at the food truck-style kiosk near the sports book, BJE offers garlic waffle fries, disco cheese fries and gravy, crispy chicken wings, Jersey ripper hot dogs, zeppole and more. Valastro’s team is also set to open the Boss Café on the Linq Promenade later this year.
The Tea Lounge on the 23rd floor at the Waldorf Astoria will offer High Garden at the Tea Lounge from April 20 through May 15. New signature cocktails and seasonal teas along with tiered trays of freshly baked signature scones, egg gougere, truffle croque brioche and assortment of desserts will be served Wednesday through Sunday from 11:45 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. Prices are $35 for kids or $64 for adults.
Cherry Development will celebrate the grand opening of Misterio Mezcal at ShareDowntown in the Arts District on April 21. Owned by longtime Las Vegas bartender Jose Sanchez and his wife Anahiance Dominguez, the Mexican-themed bar specializes in mezcal, features a broad selection of tequilas and local beer, and also offers a food menu with empanadas, tacos, ceviches and salsas. Misterio will be open Monday through Thursday from 3 until 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon until midnight, and Sunday from noon until 10 p.m.
China Poblano at the Cosmopolitan has unveiled new spring dishes, including: butternut squash soup with fried heirloom masa; Lian Ou lotus root salad with black vinegar dressing, Fresno and shishito peppers; salt roasted beet salad with apple, orange, pea shoots, chili-orange dressing and goat cheese; Golden Pearls vegetable steamed dumplings; braised lamb with cumin and star anise over thick-cut wheat noodles; and a new daily paleta for dessert.
Dolce & Chianti Cucina and Cocktails on South Durango has new menu additions for the season, including: burrata and strawberry salad with arugula and fennel; crispy prawns with spring pea risotto; and seafood pasta with mussels, prawns, scallops, clams and Galliano cream sauce.
