Rotary winds down summer months with end of period social

All through the yrs, it has been the tradition of the Mineola-Yard Town Rotary Club to keep fellowship evening activities at various local venues, through the Rotary calendar year.  Always open up to the general public, our fellowship socials provide for us the prospect to include things like members’ spouses, company along with possible users.

Subsequent Tuesday night, August 24, 6 – 10 p.m., the Club will maintain a joint fellowship social with the Williston Park Rotary Club at the Morgan Parc apartment’s lovely rooftop lounge. Morgan Parc is Situated at 199 2^nd Road (on the corner of Mineola Blvd.).  Attendees might acquire the west elevator to the penthouse.

September Meetings Continue at Calogero’s

At this second, the Backyard garden City Resort has not resumed lunch assistance. As you may well know, Rotary has been assembly at the Resort on 2^nd and 4^th Mondays for numerous decades.  Because June 15, when the Club departed from digital meetings on Zoom, Rotary has been assembly at Calogero’s Backyard Metropolis cafe. On 2^nd and 4^th Tuesdays. The Club will go on to meet up with there, together with a great Calogero’s lunch of choice throughout September on 2^nd and 4^th Tuesdays.

Visitor speaker on September 14 will be John Feyrer, digital expert who will focus on how know-how has improved the globe.  On September 18, we will welcome Nassau County Executive Laura Curran who will provide us up to date on the county’s quite a few difficulties.
