New RV journal ignores older RVers
Following a long time of publication, the two most well known American RV magazines, Trailer Life and Motorhome, were being discontinued previous year. Subscribers acquired a new, replacement periodical titled RV.
The new magazine, from Camping World and CEO Marcus Lemonis, is very — loads of shots and a snappy structure. But the material is aimed squarely at RVers in their 30s and 40s. The May well issue only characteristics a several images of RVers older than 50.
RV ads are primarily for journey trailers, Course B and C motorhomes and truck campers. Many posts are about employing RVs for out of doors experience.
Some functions will appeal to all RVers, especially testimonials of products and solutions and some journey article content.
There are plenty of plugs for Tenting Planet and advertisements from organizations that very likely do business with Tenting Earth.
I suspect, however, that baby boomer RVers and many others just a bit younger will come to feel rather remaining out when paging by way of the journal, regardless of the actuality that these seasoned RV travelers have expended a good deal far more time in their RVs than young, novice RVers, who, on common, invest minimal more than a couple months a year in their rigs.
A newsstand copy is $6.99, and a a single-calendar year membership $19.97.
Have you go through the new RV journal? What do you consider of it?
