A TikTok user who claims to be a time traveller from the year 2096 has warned that a horrific serial killer will be captured after murdering a record number of victims.
The user, who posts under the name @timetravelhq, warned their followers to ‘be prepared’ as they listed some huge criminal convictions they claim are coming next year.
However, they also threw in a claim about the economy as they say it will no longer be possible to pay for anything in cash by 2025.
In the clip, which has gained more than 260 likes, they wrote: “Warning! Some people don’t believe that I am a time traveller from the year 2096 so here are a few events to come.
“2023: A serial killer is arrested for a record number of murders. 2023: A well-known artist will be arrested for child abuse. 2025: It is no longer possible to pay with cash.”
It is unclear how many kills the new serial killer will reach, however, the thug with the current highest number of confessions is a child murderer, torture-killer, and rapist named Luis Garavito, who was nicknamed “La Bestia” or “The Beast.”
Garavito confessed to killing 140 boys between six and sixteen years old, from October 1992 to April 1999 in Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela but is suspected of murdering over 300 street children.
He was originally sentenced to 1,853 years in prison, but this was later reduced to 22 years, after he led police to many of the bodies of his victims, making him eligible for parole in 2023.

TikTok viewers were divided over whether these warnings were true or not as some claim we would be able to see them coming from now.
One user said: “That’s not time travelling. That’s just the world we are living in today.”
Another wrote: “In the Netherlands, the cash system is slowly disappearing you can’t pay with cash in the busses anymore.”
A third added: “We would have been informed by now If in 2025 cash money would disappear.”
A fourth commented: “No vid from 2096??? Lol.”
